Offshore Wind Technician opportunity at Muehlhan Wind Service

If this sounds like a movement you would like to be a part of, consider joining our Offshore team for a services project at the Block Island Wind Farm off the coast of Rhode Island. Must have M&E or Services experience; offshore experience is a plus!
We are looking for applicants with these qualities:
- Highly motivated, ready for a new challenge.
- Hard-working and physically able to climb wind turbines.
- Flexible with changing plans and schedules!
- Good communication skills, friendly and positive.
- Humble; able to receive instructions from the project leads.
- Excellent attendance habits.
- Comfortable with heights, extreme temperatures, confined spaces.
Required Skills:
- Safety 1st focus! Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
- Verify that work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements.
- Document all work performed.
- Read, understand, and utilize written instructions. I.e., installation manual, TWP, WDI, PCAT, FCAT, CCT and others.
- Perform installation, material handling, inventory, inspection, commissioning, or maintenance of completed GE turbines.
- Document deficiencies found during inspections.
- Repair defects.
- Report policy or procedure violation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
- Submit progress reports.
- Demonstrate experience in Microsoft office applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to utilize hand tools.
All candidates must have a valid driver’s license or other State ID, be able to pass a drug test and a background check. You must be able to work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse conditions within confined spaces. Candidates must be able to work and manipulate 50 lbs. and demonstrate visual acuity including depth perception, field of view and ability to distinguish colors.
