Muehlhan Wind Service and its subsidiaries specialize in services across Wind and Industrial Services. In the Wind segment, the company offers wind power-related services in the areas of offshore, blade (rotor blades for wind turbines), high voltage, paint (painting and surface protection), onshore, inspection work and manpower solutions. The Industrial Service segment offers surface protection, scaffolding and access technology, steel construction and insulation services. 

 

ROLE AND LOCATION

We’re hiring a People Technician to join our team in Portugal. This role will support the full training lifecycle for our employees (office staff and field technicians). Your mission is to plan, schedule, and track all trainings and certifications to meet legal,  industry and customer requirements.
You may occasionally support broader HR tasks, but your primary focus is training management.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Map training needs (office & field), maintain the training matrix, and ensure compliance with client/industry standards.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate courses, refreshers, inductions, and technical/HSE certifications.

  • Liaise with providers, instructors, and Operations.

  • Manage venues, materials, and logistics.

  • Keep training records up to date in our systems (LMS/HRIS), including certificates, validity, and expiries.

  • Prepare compliance evidence for audits and client requests; monitor KPIs (completion, expiry risk, no-shows).

  • Manage budgets, POs, and invoices; support continuous improvement of training processes and content.

  • Onboard new joiners with required trainings; coordinate recertifications for field teams.

 

 

HR Support (occasional/secondary):

    • Assist in recruitment admin (posting, screening, scheduling) when needed.

    • Maintain accurate employee documentation and support offboarding processes.

    • Help run parts of the performance appraisal cycle and internal engagement events.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • English proficiency (B2 minimum) - this skill will be assessed during the recruitment process. 
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent coordination, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to prioritize, work to deadlines, and keep meticulous records.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Sociology, Educational Sciences, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience in HR and training management.
